A community service of the Winter Park Health Foundation. Historically, the Peggy & Philip B. Crosby Center for Health and Wellness was owned and operated by the Winter Park Health Foundation. It became a part of the Central Florida YMCA in December 1999. Prior to becoming a YMCA Family Center, the Crosby Center had been serving the greater Winter Park community with a focus on adult programs. Once it became a YMCA Family Center, Crosby and the Winter Park YMCA Family Center began working closely to provide complementary programming. The centers are less than one mile apart. Both centers offer exercise, swimming, Indoor Cycling, health and wellness seminars and wellness equipment. The Crosby center also provides a Child Development area with constructive environment with activities to help your children develop in Spirit, Mind and Body.

| Programs | Description |
| Aquatics | YMCA of Central Florida offers progressive swimming opportunities for youth and adults. In YMCA aquatics programs, children learn to be safe around water and they feel the sense of accomplishment that comes with learning something new. The Central Florida YMCA aquatics programs include drowning prevention, infant-parent classes, preschool classes, classes for people with disabilities and classes for teens and adults. These include water exercise and therapy and water sports, including synchronized swimming and master competitive swimming for people 18 and over. Competitive programs are also available for youth.
Note: Aquatic Programs differ at each YMCA Family Center, so contact your local YMCA for more information on which aquatic programs are available.

| Safe Start | Drowning is the second leading cause of injury-related death for children ages 1 through 14 years. Florida is the second highest ranked in the nation for drowning-related deaths. The YMCA of Central Florida's Safe Start program is one of the most comprehensive drowning prevention programs in the United States. Safe Start Information |
| Seniors | The YMCA of Central Florida is for people of all ages, abilities and incomes. We count older adults as some of our most loyal members. At our family centers, older adults have a chance to keep active and grow in spirit, mind and body. New friends and new opportunities add joy to life, and the Y also gives seniors a chance to share their time and talents with others, such as children and teens.
Note: Senior programs differ at each YMCA Family Center, so contact your local YMCA for more information on which programs are available.
